I like to read about Havanese (surprise!) so I set my Google alerts to pull all information about the breed. This morning's alert let me to a string of comments responding to a request for a female Havanese for breeding. Eeeks!

"What you should be doing is playing with your puppy, getting him neutered and taking him to do something like agility or better yet, freestyle like this - MUCH more fun than doing (breeding) puppies."Breeding puppies, like complicated home repairs, is better left to the pros (responsible breeders). Whether you get your dog from a shelter, breed rescue or responsible breeder, there are plenty of activities (that don't involve making more pups) you can enjoy with your pup for years to come.
In addition to agility, we enjoy lure coursing, disc catching, learning new tricks and now we're looking into a nose works class!
