Win an Awesome Dog Training Prize Pack from PetSafe!

We are super excited about today's giveaway! It's full of items that are both useful and tasty when it comes to training your pup!

Take a look at our rundown of what's included and then read all the way down to enter via Giveaway Tools.

PetSafe Train & Praise Treat Dispenser

We've been wanting one of these for a while and now you can win one! With the PetSafe Train & Praise Dog Treat Dispenser, the handheld remote activates the treat dispenser from up to 25 feet away, so good behavior can immediately be rewarded.

You can use it to help train everyday good dog behavior like keeping your pet away from the door when a visitor arrives. And, you can also get creative with it and use it to train your pup to work away from you in agility. Check out our short training clip below. We're still dreaming up uses for the Train & Praise!

The Train & Praise alone retails for $79.95 so this is a giveaway filled with LOTS of value you won't want to miss!

PetSafe Treat Pouch

We can't live without our treat pouch, and this one has separate compartments so you can store your phone and keys, fill it with multiple treats, attach a clicker and use either the belt clip or adjustable belt.

We love being able to load everything into this nice trim pouch and go for a walk or training session hands free! The Treat Pouch retails for $19.99.

Clik-R Training Clicker

I'm always losing clickers, so keep this one in your treat pouch and you'll always know where to find it. This hand-held clicker can be used for training nearly everything from the basics like sit and down to tricks and agility training.

The Clik-R includes a finger strap which makes it easy to hold when training your pet.

The Clik-R retails for $3.99.

Indigo Smokehouse Strips

Yummy USA-made Smokehouse Strips are made with real fresh chicken or pork as the main ingredient, with only premium cuts of USDA-inspected meat.

You won't find artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives in this natural treat. They're packed with a smoked and cured flavor and vacuum sealed for freshness. We love that the 12-ounce package includes four separately packaged pouches of treats with a resealable bag to retain freshness. Retail price for the 12-ounce package is $17.99.

Liver Biscotti Baked Dog Treats Original Recipe

These treats are low in fat, preservative-free, and baked from scratch in the USA.  The Liver Biscotti Baked Treats are available in two different sizes and they're perfect for using in a Train & Praise Treat Dispenser.

The original recipe includes wheat and eggs, and there's also a wheat-free recipe. An 8-ounce bag retails for $7.99.

Watch Rocco Run for the Train & Praise!

In the bottom video, I use the Train & Praise to teach Rocco to go out away from me over an agility jump. In the top video, we're working on a rear cross. Rocco kept spinning out going right (he's a champ at turning left!), so I used the Train & Praise to reward him remotely, and ahead of me, when he did it correctly.

Tip: When we use the Praise & Train outside, I place it on a disc so Rocco can find the treats quickly as they are dispensed from the treater.

    2. We have a national base, of a bit over 3100 social media followers (facebook, instagram and twitter), but as far as events, speakings, engagements etc. I stay local (Hudson Valley, of New York).

  8. Wow, it seems like each of your giveaways are better than the last. I have *really* been wanting a remote treat dispenser for a while, but can't afford one. Crossing my fingers!

Shiloh is continuing his agility training. We started agility late and informally, not originally having a desire to compete. Oh how I wish I had heard of "foundation training"! He's really pretty good, but there are definitely gaps that I'm trying to go back and fix. Since the weather has really hindered training this winter, we're working inside, and going all the way back to Crate Games!

  17. My latest trick is playing basketball - we've been working to perfect it for months now. The next trick we plan to tackle is teaching me to use steps to get up and down from the bed. I usually leap & momma wants me to start using steps for when I get older and can no longer leap.

  24. I have five Treeing Walker Coonhounds - one senior girl, and four (two boys, two girls) who were adopted within a 1-1/2 year time frame so I'll be honest - I haven't trained them as well as I would have liked to. I have been working with them on reinforcing their basic commands (which they do know) and hoping to add some "tricks" to their schedule. My smallest hound, Ran, was born deaf and has actually been pretty easy to train, but since she can't hear, treats have been a great way of reinforcing positive behavior with her. She knows her commands by hand signals.

  25. We are waiting for our 90 inches of snow to melt so we can get back to agility. Working on barking at every dog, people, and squirrels that chatter at the window at Schooner and Skipper. Practicing staying, drop it, sit, down, roll over and a few other trick in the house

  26. Imagine two nine-month-old lhasa apsa-bichon frise puppies trapped inside the house because it's too cold for their feetsies outside. Then imagine finally getting them outside and trying to train them to do anything. Oh, and while doing their business outside, barking at everyone. Their names are Winston and Snickers and you can see cute pictures of them at www.amylpeterson.com. Thanks for allowing me to enter!

  50. The benefits of having a trained dog are endless. A few months ago I started to train mine with some videos I found online. They teach you step by step! Aggression, anxiety, biting, barking and disasters in the house have disappeared. My dog behaves excellent. And I have taught many tricks! Here is the address: www.theonlinedogtrainers. com

  52. The bad behavior of my dog forced me to investigate how I could train him. I found this system online and it has given me excellent results, https://tinyurl.com/dogbestbehavior ! He no longer bites my furniture, or my shoes, no longer urinates in the room, and no longer barks like crazy!
