Review: Give Your Dog a Bone With ORGANIX Butcher & Bushel Canned Food #OrganicPet

Rocco's been busy these last few weeks sampling lots of goodies from Castor & Pollux's ORGANIX brand of food and treats. And, since he so thoroughly enjoyed the Butcher and Bushel Grain-Free canned food, he asked if he could tell you about it in today's post.

So take it away Rocco!

Hiya pals! It's me, Rocco, here today to tell you all about ORGANIX Butcher and Bushel canned dog food from Castor and Pollux.

You all know how much I like to run fast and jump high, so it's super important that I get fed well and often with something that I LOVE to eat!

But before I got to the taste test, mom made me learn all about Castor & Pollux and ORGANIX, the most complete line of certified organic natural food for pets under the USDA’s National Organic Program.

Please mom, can I taste Butcher and Bushel already!
I learned that Butcher and Bushel, the canned food from ORGANIX, comes in five tasty flavors, all made with lots of chunky pieces of organic meats, fruits and vegetables.

It's all tested and safe to help keep me healthy, and what's really cool about the organic ingredients is they NEVER EVER contain chemical pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, artificial preservatives, growth hormones or antibiotics.  And, Butcher and Bushel is all made in the USA from high-quality certified organic ingredients.

But what's REALLY cool, is that in the Butcher & Bushel Chicken Wing & Thigh Dinner, there are actual BONES! That's right! Mom said it was ok for me to eat the bones because Butcher & Bushel uses a special process to pressure cook the bones right inside the can, making the bones soft and safe for me to eat.

These are what the bones look like in the Butcher & Bushel Chicken
Wing & Thigh Dinner. I usually eat out of a bowl, but mom
put these on a plate so you can see them better.
The chef even left a nice note on the side of the can so that everyone knows that these specially cooked bones are safe for doggies.

First, I thought mom made a mistake by giving me the bone, so I grabbed it and RAN! But it crumbled really easily when I bit into it, so I knew it was a special bone.

I personally like the bone whole, but you can easily crumble it up for your pup or take it out all together (but I vote for leaving it in for all my doggie pals to enjoy!).

If you don't believe me, take a look at what this nice Atlanta vet has to say.

Dr. Anderson's pup Allie sure looks like she loves the Chicken Wing & Thigh Dinner too. Maybe she can come over for dinner sometime and we'll have a Butcher and Bushel buffet together!

Nom, nom. nom,,,
Finally, mom let me get to the taste test!

I stuck my whole head in

And then I licked the plate clean! urp!

That's some tasty goodness from ORGANIX Butcher & Bushel! More please!

I'll be taste testing more yummy treats from Castor & Pollux next week, but in the meantime look at these reviews from our pals at DogTipper and All Things Dog Blog.

And, don't forget, I'm helping give away $750 worth of Castor & Pollux goodies at the May 4 #OrganicPet Twitter Party. You can RSVP for a chance to win three pre-party prizes here.

If you can't wait (I know how that is, I'm kind of impatient about my meals too) find Castor & Pollux at a store near you using this handy store locator.

  5. Looks yummy! We have tried the treats from ORGANIX but not the food. Those cooked bones kind of freak me out, but I totally trust they must be safe. Thanks for the info!

  7. I have to admit that this is a fantastic post, and I value the information. You talk about Review: Give Your Dog a Bone With ORGANIX Butcher & Bushel Canned Food #OrganicPet. I would like to read more of your arguments because they are so compelling. But I'm now seeking for the nursing dissertation writing service for a homework project. This benefits me, and I do my task more quickly. All pupils can benefit from the website's extensive content.
