Rocco and I take time to tiptoe through the Chicago tulips! |
First, we're busy getting ready for today's (Friday, May 8) #EBParties Twitter party and we thought we'd tell you a little more about that since there are some really great prizes that we think active pups would love!
Check out the entire prize list, and while you're there, you can also RSVP for the party. Here are just a few of the awesome prizes:
- Popware from Dexas, we love taking our collapsible bowl with us everywhere
- A Paws Aboard life jacket from Fido Pet Products, perfect for summer water activities
- A Mesh Dog Blanket from Back on Track, perfect for keeping active dogs' muscles warm before exercise or between agility runs!
On a completely different note, this Saturday night we're attending an event to support an important cause. The Puppy Mill Project will be honoring the mother dogs left behind in puppy mills at their fifth annual The Mothers in the Mills fundraiser. The benefit is held on the eve of Mother’s Day to help end puppy mills and pay for rescued mill dogs overwhelming vet costs. If you're in Chicago and are interested in attending, you can purchase tickets here.
We're looking forward to some nice lakefront walks |
We hope you have a Happy FitDog Mother's Day! Do you have any special activities planned for the Mothers of your furkids (or human kids!)?
The fun and games continue every Friday with FitDog Friday, the weekly Blog Hop brought to you by To Dog With Love, SlimDoggy and My GBGV Life to promote a healthy active lifestyle for pets (and their people, too!). Join in every Friday by linking up your FitDog story or visiting the blogs in the Hop.
Have fun in Chicago! We are looking forward to a quiet weekend at home, hanging out together, relaxing and having some fun walks.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time in Chicago this weekend and a very happy Mother's Day to all moms and furmoms!
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip and happy Mother's Day to you too, Chicago is an awesome city!
ReplyDeleteIt isn't Mothers Day here in the UK, but we hope you had a good day where you are! We don't live in such a big city, so we don't see those huge buildings!! This may sound silly, but they are rather fascinating for us!!!
