A FitDog Happy Mother's Day!

Rocco and I are in Chicago this weekend to celebrate  Mother's Day and we're looking forward to getting in some nice lakefront walks and visiting with some of our Chicago blog pals like Dolly the Doxie.

So, since we're in Chicago, and since it's Mother's Day weekend, on this FitDog Friday we're bringing you some fun, prizes and a great cause for the furmoms.



First, we're  busy getting ready for today's (Friday, May 8) #EBParties Twitter party and we thought we'd tell you a little more about that since there are some really great prizes that we think active pups would love!

On a completely different note, this Saturday night we're attending an event to support an important cause. The Puppy Mill Project will be honoring the mother dogs left behind in puppy mills at their fifth annual The Mothers in the Mills fundraiser. The benefit is held on the eve of Mother’s Day to help end puppy mills and pay for rescued mill dogs overwhelming vet costs. If you're in Chicago and are interested in attending, you can purchase tickets here.
