Live from #BlogPaws it's K9 Fit Club!

K9 Fit Club BlogPaws group
Warm up for dogs and pups at K9 Fit Club class at BlogPaws 2015 in Nashville

We're at BlogPaws this week, and while it's super fun and busy, there's no excuse to skip your daily exercise! And, when your furry best friend is there to help motivate you, it makes it much easier to get up and get moving.

That's the whole concept behind K9 Fit Club, an exercise class you do with your pup! At BlogPaws, the annual pet blogger conference, we're leading two classes this weekend. So if you're at BlogPaws and missed today's session, come out and join us Friday morning (that's today!) at 7 a.m.!

Rocco got in an early warm up on a K9FITbone.

Rocco and Riley from Oh My Shih Tzu fit in a quick romp before the class began!

The pups worked on their balancing skills and core conditioning. Terra from Tiffany's Diamond Dogs shows off her awesome skills!

Humans got a core workout too!

We finished up with some stretching for both pups and people!

If you want to see if there's a K9 Fit Club trainer in your area, check out this list of certified trainers or learn more about K9 Fit Club here.

How does your dog motivate you to get more exercise?
Let us know in the comments below!

The fun and games continue every Friday with FitDog Friday, the weekly Blog Hop brought to you by To Dog With LoveSlimDoggy and My GBGV Life to promote a healthy active lifestyle for pets (and their people, too!). Join in every Friday by linking up your FitDog story or visiting the blogs in the Hop.

  3. Barley would think that core workout was a sign she should crawl on top of me. Any time I get down on the floor she thinks she's supposed to be on my lap :) This looks like a fun workout--glad you got to lead a couple classes!

    1. Rocco was trying to dig treats out of my pocket while I was laying on the floor. (That's his tail you're looking at, I know it's hard to tell!)

  4. Rocco is so cute! Kobi would love playing with Rocco! Kobi also loves to get involved when I do yoga at home...it ends up being yoga + toy toss.

    1. I understand! Rocco either drapes himself over me or gets in my face. If I have any treats or food on me, he'll stick his whole head in my pocket!

  5. That looks like a lot of fun. Earl and Ethel would find that so exciting!

  7. Mr. N goes to dance class with me but he mostly just supervises. I checked and there's no trainers yet in our state.

  11. Even without my dad, who mom blamed for missing stuff at BlogPaws, she still couldn't get her stuff together to be there. Really sorry we missed the fun and good job! Love Dolly Pees: the patio was fun with Rocco, wheeee!
