This week we headed to NYC for the Purina Better With Pets Summit, an event we've been fortunate  to attend the past four years. Rocco didn't come with me, but I'm thinking he may need to make the trip next year!

We stayed in Brooklyn and the event was there too... the perfect dog-friendly locale!

We learned about lots of terrific programs that the folks at Purina are involved in -- like the dog-friendly domestic violence shelter at the Urban Resource Institute and partnerships with the North Shore Animal League, the St. Louis Children's Hospital and the Mayo Clinic.  We'll tell you more about some of those next week.
