This past weekend pets and pet parents around the world celebrated the Feast of St Francis of Assisi, many attending blessing ceremonies at their local churches. The feast commemorates the life of St Francis, who is the Catholic Church's patron saint of animals and the environment. When we were in Milan last month, Rocco got the chance to pose with the St Francis statue. I consider that an extra blessing!
To celebrate both pets and the environment, we're planning a hike this weekend! I can't think of any better way to celebrate!
