Cosmo couldn't wait to get the packaging open! |
First, a little bit about the new recipes. Then, be sure to read all the way down for a chance to win your own prize package of dinners from Naturally Delish.
Naturally Delish comes in 8 oz. containers with a plastic top, that can be used to reseal the container for up to three days in the refrigerator. They recommend one container per 9-11 pounds of body weight daily. I chose to mix it in with his regular dry food, so each container lasted about three days for us, making the packaging super convenient for a dog Cosmo's size (17 pounds).

Now for the true test, let's see what Cosmo has to say about it.
I didn't realize that other dogs don't stuff their entire faces in their bowls when they eat. If you've ever seen Cosmo surfing for treats in other people's bags, this shouldn't be a surprise.
So we decided to try some video. Cosmo's never happy when he has to wait for food...

This is how Cosmo eats. Head stuffed in the bowl until he licks the bowl clean. |

And sometimes he doesn't wait at all....
I'd say Naturally Delish more than passes the Cosmo palatability test. He loved it and begged for more!

ReplyDeleteOdin the Shih Tzu can be a picky eater, but this looks like it would tempt even him :)

ReplyDeleteIf I win, the prize will be split amongst Jack, Zora, and Midget. Yes, they love to eat. They love to try new things, too. So while their tastes aren't so specific and hard to please that they will be excited about a real life cook's dog food recipe, they'll definitely be excited to try something new!
