Backyard Behavior: Dogs vs. Cats!

You never know who will show up in our backyard. Yesterday, neighbor kitty Patches perched herself overhead while Rocco was oblivious to her whereabouts.

Rocco did a little crouching and hiding of his own...

... and then burst into motion!

Zooooom!

Kitty Patches maintains her composure, peering out at the zooming Rocco.

Rocco strikes a pose (for a millisecond)...

And then he's off!

Zooooom!

Wheeeeee!

Meantime, Patches is nonplussed. Why, she wonders, am I still pointing a camera at her when I could be feeding her instead?

We're participating in the BlogPaws Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop. And if you're already planning  for your trip to BlogPaws next month, like we are, we dug up a few tips from last year that we hope you'll find helpful.

Now let's see what everyone else is up to on mostly Wordless Wednesday.

  12. Those are such great action shots, when I'm zooming Mum usually just gets a blur! :)

No cat is brave enough to come into our back garden, I think I'd have been trying to zoom up that tree and Patches wouldn't have looked quite so chilled! :)

    Hope you're having a fun day :)

    Your pal Snoopy :)

  13. Too cute! Rocco is absolutely adorable. Patches is a cutie too. I love how she just lies their in the tree, completely unaffected by what Rocco is doing :)
