YaffBars: Energy Bar to Share With Your Dog! (Review & Giveaway)

Rocco and I sampled a YaffBar on our
hike at Minnehaha Falls
We were recently contacted by the nice folks at Mudd + Wyeth about YaffBars,  a new energy bar they've developed that you can share with your dog.

Seemed like a clever idea and something that would be quite useful for both Rocco and me while we're out hiking or at an agility trial.

Read all the way down to find out how you can win and sample some for yourself. But first, here's a little more about YaffBars.

The bars come in three flavors:  honey almond cranberry, blueberry crunch, and banana peanut butter. They're all natural, wheat, dairy and caffeine free with no refined sugar. So far, they look pretty good!

Each bar is 240 calories, so if you have a small pup like Rocco, you'll want to be sure to break off really small portions. The good news is, we found the bars really easy to break apart so we both could enjoy them in appropriate portion sizes and share them with friends.

The next test was to see how they tasted. Would Rocco and I both enjoy them?

Rocco got the first taste test during our hike to Minnehaha Falls. They must have smelled really good,
even through the package. Rocco couldn't wait for me to tear it open!

We took them with us on our recent hike to Minnehaha Falls in north Georgia, and we took enough to share with Rocco's pals Gracie and Johann too!  Rocco enthusiastically snarfed down the first taste and then was begging for more!

Rocco wasn't too keen on sharing his bar, but he reluctantly let me have a taste while he stared me down like a dog who hadn't eaten in a week. ha!  I thought the bar was delicious! It tasted nice and fresh, just the right amount of chewiness and it the spot after a long day of hiking.

Rocco shares his bars with his pals Gracie and Johann.
After we did our taste test, Rocco shared a bar with his pals. We sampled the banana peanut butter bar here and the pups all loved it!

Some of the ingredients you'll find in the various flavors of YaffBars are organic bananas, organic brown rice, blueberries, cranberries and carob chips. Yum!

YaffBars come in 6 and 12 packs, a sampler pack or you can share the love month after month with the YaffBar of the Month Club. Sounds like a great gift idea for the active dog-lover in your life!

Enter to Win a Nine-Bar YaffBar Sampler Pack!

Here's your chance to win YaffBars in every flavor to share with your pup and human pals too! In total you'll receive nine bars, three bars each of the three flavors.

Enter via the giveaway widget below. You can enter as many or as few ways as you like. More ways you enter, more chances to win!

Good luck!

Mudd + Wyeth provided the YaffBars for us to review and to give away. All opinions express herein are our own.
