@CosmoHavanese Comes Home!

Here's Cosmo today, fresh from the recovery room  at Saint Francis Veterinary Specialists.
I brought him home this afternoon.
Today's Wordless Wednesday post is a bit out of the ordinary. Cosmo had surgery to remove a lung tumor on Tuesday and as of noon today, it didn't look like he was coming home until tomorrow.

But after removing his chest tubes, he perked up and his vet considered him ready to come home today.  He's home now, sleeping, but he was enthusiastic about eating his dinner which is a great sign.

The lung tumor and a lymph node are being sent out for biopsy and we should have those results Monday.

Cosmo's diagnosis and surgery happened very quickly. He had a small cough that progressed to wheezing just about two weeks ago. A few vet visits, tests and a diagnosis last week led to yesterday's surgery.

Thanks to all for the pawsitive thoughts and healing wishes for Cosmo. Everything helps.
