Purina ProCare Review and Giveaway

Cosmo is giving away new Purina ProCare Ultra Dry Advanced
Training Pads and Pet Stain & Odor Eliminator to one
lucky TDWL reader!
Ever since Cosmo has been part of the family, I've kept a bottle of pet stain cleaner and a supply of pee pads in the cupboard.  So we're excited to offer a giveaway today with a new solution to pet care needs from the folks at Purina. More on how to enter our giveaway at the bottom of this post, but first a little bit about these new products.

Purina ProCare

Purina teamed up with the oneCARE Company to develop its new line of Purina ProCare products. You might not be familiar with the name oneCARE but you're sure to recognize some of its  great products from Bounce, Clorox, Downy, Febreze and others!

Even the best pets have accidents!

If you have a pet, you know pet stains can happen, and that can include everything from marking to snorting up the occasional blade of grass! Not only do I look for products that break down stains and provide odor elimination safely and naturally, but they also must pass my sniff test. That means, the scent of the product must appeal to me and not be overpowering. Purina ProCare Pet Stain & Odor Eliminator passes my test on both accounts!

Some other features of Purina ProCare Pet Stain & Odor Eliminator:
  • Designed for use on carpet, upholstery, pet beds, litter boxes and any water-safe surface
  • Safe for use around children and pets
  • Certified by the Carpet & Rug Institute (Check out the CRI's nifty Spot Solver too! Remember, blot, don't rub!)
Essentials for puppies or unusual circumstances

Purina ProCare Ultra Dry Advance Training Pads look and feel
different from other pads we've used. Check out the microweave top
layer that helps channel urine into the core and trap it there.
When Cosmo was a puppy he was trained to go on a pee pad. Now he goes outside, but we still keep pads on hand for unusual circumstances like traveling long distances or long periods of inclement weather. A feature that we've found particularly useful are pads that help eliminate tracking after using.

The new Purina ProCare Ultra Dry Advance Training Pads have a special feature that do this and more:
  • Exclusive DryStep microwave technology to eliminate unsanitary tracking
  • Super-absorbent gel core  to provide maximum absorbency
  • Leak-proof backing to protect floors and carpets
Both the pads and cleaner are available at pet specialty retail stores.

  1. If you've got hard water that leaves that "crusty" calcium build-up on dog bowls, bath tubs, etc., vinegar dissolves it right up. Just soak it overnight! If it's in a hard to reach area a good idea is to leave it covered with a vinegar-soaked rag. I'm entering the giveaway, thanks for hosting :)

  10. I am entering the giveaway. My tip is using baking soda in the catbox. It helps to absorb odors.
