Rocco recently got the chance to sample and give his honest opinion of two new Cesar Savory Delights flavors -- Angus Beef Flavor with Bacon & Cheese in meaty juices and Pork Tenderloin Flavor With Roasted Potatoes & Green Beans in meaty juices.

As you can see from his photo at right, Rocco answered the challenge by licking both the plate and his face lip-smacking clean!

Rocco: "Nomilicious! I can't decide which flavor I like better."

Me: "What's cool is that Cesar turned to the experts --  dogs and their owners -- on its search for the two new flavors to add to the Savory Delights canine cuisine line. The Angus Beef and Pork Tenderloin flavors were the clear favorites and I'd say Rocco agrees!"

Rocco: "I think we need to show more photos of my clean plate technique. (That means more noms for me!) Hee hee!"

Rocco: "Here's how you do it. Start at the center....

Rocco: "Then work your way around the outside...

Rocco: "Make sure to lick the corners clean. Lots of angles on this fancy plate!"

Rocco: "Oopsy! Don't miss any crumbs!"

Rocco: "Then lick your face clean and repeat! hee hee!"

Cosmo thoroughly enjoyed sampling the entrées as a topper on his regular dry dog food and he ripped into the bag of softies before we could even finish our photo shoot! We find the softies great for training or on dog walks because they are soft enough to be broken into even smaller pieces for more treat enjoyment.

Vote for a Hero Dog and CESAR will donate to American Humane Association to support more therapy dogs

The Hero Dog Awards celebrate the thousands of dogs making a difference to people in need every day by providing compassion, comfort and transforming lives with their tenderness and intuition. Hero dogs come in all sizes and breeds. They are therapy dogs, hearing dogs, military dogs, service dogs, guide dogs, search and rescue dogs, law enforcement dogs and ordinary dogs doing extraordinary things. 

Now, dog lovers can log on to www.HeroDogAwards.org and vote for a hero dog whose story touches them. For every vote, CESAR Canine Cuisine will make a donation to American Humane Association to help provide more specially trained animal assistance therapy dogs to people who need them most.

Once finalists are determined, they will fly to Hollywood to walk the red carpet and be recognized at the celebrity-studded awards show on October 1, 2011 when the winning Hero Dog will be announced. The awards show will be televised on Hallmark Channel on Veterans Day, November 11, 2011.

Actress and Dancing with the Stars Champ Julianne Hough teamed up with CESAR to kick off the voting portion of the campaign, which continues through July 31 for category winners and through September 30 for the Grand Prize winner.
